1. Federation for Blind People in Kosovo (FSVK) - “We play together”Project

The project aimed at enhancing gender equality by including female players in four teams of goalball and raising awareness of a broader audience about blindness during goalball and chess tournaments. This project involved five clubs from Mitrovicë/Mitrovica, Pejë/Peć, Ferizaj/Uroševac, Gjilan/Gnjilane and Graçanicë/Gračanica.

Key achievements:

  • 375 beneficiaries (participation)
  • 45 activities
  • 22% of girls
  • 70% of blind people
  • Players from 5 communities (Albanian, Ashkali, Bosniak, Roma and Serb)

2. Center for Tolerance and Integration (CTI-P) - “EXperTimental Kid” Project       

The aim of the project was to include various communities from rural areas in the region of Pejë/Peć. The project activities included a training of young male and female volunteers from Albanian, Bosniak,  Egyptian, and Serbian communities to implement inclusive baseball and basketball activities. 

Key achievements:

  • 436 beneficiaries (participation)
  • 11 volunteers from 4 communities
  • 29 activities
  • 36% of girls 
  • Children from 5 communities (Albanian 26%, Roma/Egyptian 19%, Bosniak 48%, Serb 7%)

3Youth Association for Human Rights (YAHR) “Enhancing kids socialization through sport activities”Project In Lipjan and Shtime.

The aim of this project was to enhance the integration of girls and dialogue between communities through inclusive sport activities. The project activities included football, basketball and volleyball activities over 5 months, and an educational activity on the rules of road traffic. This project involved Albanian, Roma and Ashkali communities from Shtime/Štimlje and Lipjan/Lipljan municipalities.

Key achievements:

  • 1960 beneficiaries (participation)
  • 58 activities
  • 28% of girls
  • Children from 3 communities (Albanian 74%, Ashkali 24%, Roma 2%)
